Plan calls for lines in Poland, North Africa

Union Industries President, Matteo Moltrasio, has announced that the board has approved two major investments within a medium-to-long term industrial plan with the aim of continuing the constant growth of the company. This plan includes a new Reicofil spunmelt line (SSMMS), which will be installed in Poland andl be operational in mid 2015 as well as a a second new line to be installed in North Africa. Based in Italy, Union Industries currently makes spunmelt and carded nonwovens at sites in Masserano and Biella, Italy. Its latest investment, a 24,000-ton spunmelt line, was added in 2010.
